Special machine for creep feed profile grinding with CNC OSH-680 is designed for creep feed grinding of profile precision surfaces of gas turbine engines blades made from heatproof and other hard-to-machine materials by abrasive grinding wheels.
Machine field of use is the enterprises of serial and large-scale manufacture.
Program of creep feed processing of parts is installed on the machine. The control over the following axes of machine coordinates is foreseen:
- longitudinal travel of wheel head – coordinate X;
- vertical travel of wheel head - coordinate Y;
- vertical travel of dressing mechanism diamond roller - coordinate V.
- Installation of machined parts is realized in the customer’s attachment. Part clamping is realized mechanically by hand.
- Supply of electric power to electric cabinet is centralized from the customer’s power grid, voltage is 380V ±10%, 50Hz ±1%.
- Supply of compressed air to machine is centralized from the customer’s pneumatic network, pressure is 4,5…5 bar.

Machine has an arrangement with wheel head movable in longitudinal, cross and vertical direction. Base of the machine is its bed in the front part of which there is a stationary table on which basing attachment for fastening processed blades is installed.
Sled bearing column with wheel head travels in the rear part of the bed over linear guide ways in longitudinal direction.
Grinding wheel dressing by rotary profile diamond roller mechanism is installed on wheel head body.
Machine control is realized by CNC system from machine control panel located in front of working zone. Working zone of grinding is guarded by cabinet type protection in which connection of exhaust system of coolant-lubricant aerosols sucking off is foreseen.
Front wall of protection has movable opening door from plexiglass. Working zone is lighted by means of a luminaire.
Profile surfaces grinding and also constant grinding wheel dressing are produced as per CNC control program (CP) in automatic cycle, creep feed method of grinding is used in this case. CNC system “Sinumerik-840Dsl” with drives Sinamics of the firm Siemens is used on the machine. MMC support (supply) version is in Russian. Control panel is equipped with portable electronic hand-wheel NOT-STOP for travel over controllable coordinates in manual mode.
Machine is equipped with system of coolant feed and treatment with use of pumps of coolant-lubricant supply into machining zone Q = 350 l/min, Р=12 bar, coolant-lubricant supply into dressing zone Q = 80 l/min, Р=6 bar and drum-type filter with use of filter cloth.
To support the constant temperature of coolant –lubricant refrigerating unit is used on machine which supports the constant set temperature of coolant-lubricant directly in tank of clean coolant-lubricant and provides it to be not higher than 20°C.
