SURFACE GRINDING MACHINE WITH ROUND ROTARY INCLINABLE TABLE AND HORIZONTAL SPINDLE OSH-644

DESCRIPTION

     Surface grinding machine with round table and horizontal spindle model OSH-644 is designed for abrasive processing (grinding) of flat surfaces of parts fastened on the face of rotating face plate of round table (or on electromagnetic chuck fastened on the face of face plate) by grinding wheel periphery.
    The parts to machined planes of which high demands are made in relation of flatness, parallelism and roughness of machined surfaces are processed on the machine.
       Kinematic diagram of machine must provide the following motions:
- rotation of grinding wheel;
- vertical travel of dressing diamond of dressing mechanism;
- cross automatic stepless adjustable as for value of compound slide travel with self-reversing;
-manual rough and fine cross travel of compound slide by hand wheels;
-rapid cross travel of compound slide;
-vertical automatic stepless adjustable as for value wheel head travel;
-manual rough and fine vertical travel of wheel head by hand wheels;
-rapid vertical travel of wheel head;
- rotary table rotation with stepless adjustable speed;
- manual turning of face plate of rotary table by hand wheel.

DESIGN ADVANTAGES

  • Wheel head consists of molded case and spindle installed in bushing coated by compound in case. Rotation from electric motor onto spindle is transmitted through polyvee belt drive.
  • Dressing mechanism is installed on top of wheel head body. Drive of mechanism carriage travels (travel over grinding wheel axis) is from induction motor through belt transmission onto screw with control from control desk. Travel of mechanism plunger with dressing diamond onto grinding wheel (feed of diamond on dressing depth) is mechanical by hand wheel.

    The base of machine is the bed on which compound slide, column, cross and vertical feeds mechanisms are installed.
      Compound slide provides table cross travel. Wheel head travel is realized over vertical guide ways of bed by vertical feed mechanism with controlling drive installed in the bed through worm reduction gearbox. 
  Wheel head vertical travel and compound slide travel is realized by ball screw pairs. On top the compound slide a round table is installed with belt drive through worm gear from hydraulic motor on face plate of which the machined part with attachment  or magnetic chuck  for part installation can be installed. Table has the inclination angle ±10ْ in cross direction, control of turning angle is realized according to the digital read-out device. Table rotation can be realized clockwise as well as anti-clockwise.
      Cross traverse reading mechanism is installed in the middle under compound slide and vertical traverse reading mechanism is inside on the lateral surface of column.   Wheel head spindle is mounted on high precision rolling bearings. Wheel head spindle rotation is clockwise.    
      Hydraulic equipment is executed as a separate unit and is installed to the left from the machine, electric cabinet is to the right and cooling system is from behind. Machine is equipped with digital read-out device over three coordinates.

Mechanism carriage travels drive (travel along grinding wheel axis) is from induction motor through belt transmission  onto screw with control from the control desk.        Travel of  plunger of mechanism with  dressing diamond  onto grinding wheel (feed of diamond onto dressing depth) is mechanical by means of hand wheel.
        Digital read-out device.
       Linear and angular converters and digital read-out device of the firm FAGOR for reading cross, vertical travels and rotary table turning angle are used on machine.
       Magnetic chuck.
    Permanent magnetic chuck 244/06-400 of the firm SAV.

  • System of coolant feed and treatment with magnetic separator and filter –conveyor. This option includes tank with pump for coolant-lubricant feed into the zone of machining  and filter –conveyor with roller filtering cloth and also magnetic separator which is installed on the frame of filter-conveyor. Filtration of coolant-lubricant takes place at first through magnetic separator, then through filter-conveyor.  Capacity of magnetic separator is 50 l/min, of filter-conveyor is 100 l/min.

  • System of coolant feed and treatment with centrifuge. This option includes tank with pump for coolant-lubricant feed into machining zone and one rotor centrifuge.

  • Equipping the rotary table with magnetic chuck with diameter 400 mm.

  • Equipping the machine with rotary non-inclinable table with face plate with diameter 400 mm
